Chevron &On

A finished quilt top.

I love this quilt! I wasn’t the most motivated when sewing it up. That part took a few days. And then once I was sewing it sewed up pretty quick!

The quilt is made up off fabrics from Sarah Jane’s Wee Wander, Leah Duncun’s Savanna in glow, and Natalie Lymer’s Enchant.

The quilt measures 65x 71. I love the size.

The pink/ salmon part of the quilt is actually my favorite. I am totally digging on the pinks more than the greens. My fabric choice says otherwise but I promise you it is true!

I even had a few large pieces left over from my friendship star quilt that I was able to fussy cut.

I haven’t decided on a backing fabric. I am sure that part will take a few more weeks. I never know what to use and always wait a long time to decide.

But for now the quilt will sit and wait.

I think the pinks work so well because of the contrast between them and the “cool” colors above. Very nice. 🙂 And the fussy cuts are darling.

Great mix of fabrics and I love the scrappy yet cohesive feel of the layout. That salmon is pretty great I agree

This quilt looks fantastic. I love your fabric choices! I am the same, sometimes a quilt top will sit for ages because I am putting off trying to choose a backing.
